What is the Piermont - Accountant Alliance?
The Piermont - Accountant Alliance (“PAA”) is a forum that Piermont has established to develop relationships with Accountants. We believe that you, as the Trusted Advisor, have an obligation to better serve your clients. We believe that as the Comprehensive Wealth Advisor, we have an obligation to better serve our clients. Investments and tax issues are two disciplines that are not mutually exclusive and clients deserve to be adequately advised in both areas. The Network intends to (1) distribute a weekly investment e-newsletter (2) conduct a monthly roundtable breakfast discussion on “best practice” issues in the accounting and wealth management arena and (3) provide free quarterly CPE seminars on tax and financial planning topics. Knowledge is power and in this case, the goal is to provide that knowledge and assistance to the private investor.
Why you should join the Piermont – Accountant Alliance?
Can your clients answer the following questions?
When can I afford to retire? What will be my estimated cash flow needs during retirement? Am I properly insured? What was my portfolio rate of return last year and did it outperform the relative benchmark? Is my estate plan in order?
Our clients can, and your client should be able to, answer these questions accurately. We believe too many private investors do not receive accurate financial planning advice; but rather receive misdirected investment choices. We believe too many private investors pay exorbitant commissions for conflicted financial advice. And unfortunately, we believe too many private investors cannot answer one of the above accurately questions; let alone, all of them.
If you share our beliefs and want to provide a value added services to your clients, please contact Philip Capell to discuss your interest in the Piermont - Accountant Alliance.
