Welcome to the Piermont – Accountant Golf Network (PAGN). In an effort to make socializing on the golf course more available, Piermont has created a golf network for accountants to enjoy some of the nicest courses on Long Island. The goal is to provide you, the accountant, with a monthly golf game, regardless of your ability and without having to pay for a private country club.
The Membership:
There is no cost to join PAGN. You simply must be a practicing accountant either working or residing on Long Island. You do not need a handicap and you do not to need to be an excellent golfer. Just bring a great attitude and a desire to play and have fun.
The Process:
We have arranged for 5 consecutive tee times beginning at 1pm for the scheduled dates below. We will try to match foursomes based upon quality of play and try to have the better players take the first few tee times. If you want to play with certain members or do not want to play with certain members, please let Philip Capell know your preference as soon as possible.
Since only 20 spots are available, you can reserve your position by sending a check payable to Piermont Inc., 135 Crossways Park Drive, Suite 102, Woodbury, NY 11797. You can sign up for as many dates as you want.
For instance, if you want to play May 21 ($59), June 18 ($90) and October 15 ($90) – you would mail in a check for $239 payable to Piermont Inc. and your position would be held for those 3 dates.
The only way to hold your position for an outing is by forwarding a check to Piermont, Inc. Positions will be reserved on a first come, first paid basis.
Cancellations:
If you signed up for a date and cannot make it, you must provide us with at least one weeks notice of cancellation from the date of the golf outing and we will either refund your money for that date or provide you a position in a future golf date for that season, if available. If you do not provide at least one week notice of cancellation prior to the date of the golf outing, you have the following options: (1) find a substitute accountant to take your place and arrange for reimbursement from him/her or (2) forfeit your fee for that golf outing. Cancellations must be in writing either faxed to Piermont at 516-496-7803 or e-mailed to pcapell@piermontwealth.com.

The Off-Season:
Depending upon the energy and enthusiasm of the group, we may conduct a Winter Golf trip, Networking social events with instructional lesson from golf experts, and seminars on golf equipment and golf fitness.
